Remove User List from Logon Screen Click on the Start Button, type in secpol. msc and hit Enter. When the Local Security Policy editor loads, navigate through Local Policy and then Security Options. Locate Interactive logon: Do not display last user name policy. Set the policy to Enabled and hit Ok.
Navigate to Computer Configuration Windows Settings Security Settings Local Policies Security Options. Double-click Interactive logon: Display user information when the session is locked. Select Do not display user information. Next, double-click Interactive logon: Do not display last user name.
Alternatively, follow these steps: Press the Windows icon on the taskbar. Right-click on one of the widgets/folders on the left (except the user profile and power options). Select Personalize this list from the options. On the next screen, turn on or turn off the relevant buttons to add or remove items.

Solution Type netplwiz in the Start menu search bar, then click the top result to run the command. Uncheck the tick from the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and hit Apply. Enter the username and password, then re-enter the password. Click OK again to save the changes.
