The title bar is located at the top of the window (below the menu bar on Mac), and displays the file name of the current document. The default file name for a new document is Untitled X, where X is a number dependent on how many documents are open.
The Menu bar is located across the top of the Writer window, just below the Title bar. When you choose one of the menus, a submenu drops down to show commands. File contains commands that apply to the entire document such as Open, Save, and Export as PDF.

Click Insert Manual Break Row Break or Insert Manual Break Column Break from the main menu. If you are creating subtotals, click Data Subtotals, click the Options tab, and then select Page break between groups.
Go to ToolsOptionsOOoAppearance and uncheck the Object boundaries entry.
To use a drawing tool: Click in the document where you want the drawing to be anchored. Select the tool from the Drawing toolbar. Move the cross-hair pointer to the place in the document where you want the graphic to appear and then click-and-drag to create the drawing object.
