Youve got say a seven page document and theres an eighth page and its just blank. You dont want that page to appear when you export as a PDF or when you print a document. Well, there are a few different reasons that you may see extra pages at the end of your Pages document. To get to the bottom of it the first thing you need to understand is that there are two different types of Pages documents. Theres a word processing document and a page layout document. When you create a new document in Pages you start off

in the toolbar, choose Page Thumbnails, select the page you want to delete, then press Delete on your keyboard.
To delete a page in Word on a Mac computer, go to the page that you want to delete and press the Option +⌘ + G keys on your keyboard. Then type \page in the text box. Next, click Enter and then Close. Finally, press Delete or Backspace on your keyboard.
To begin, enter the formatting view and then follow the steps below: Press Command + 8. This will show all the page breaks between individual pages within your document. Select the page you want to delete. A shaded line indicates where a particular page ends. Press delete. This will effectively delete the page.
If you cant delete the blank page in normal view, try deleting it in the Navigation pane. Select the View menu, and enable Navigation Pane in the Show section of the ribbon. In the Navigation pane on the left, select the blank page from the list of pages.

Unwanted blank pages are usually caused by manual page breaks. In the default view, Word hides the appropriate control characters, so its difficult to spot the correct place to delete the page. Its easier if you adjust the view. The function Show/hide paragraph marks helps you with that.
