In other contexts, requisition means a formal request or demand, which might be (among many other things) a physicians request for an MRI for a patient or a demand from shareholders to a board of directors, requiring them to vote on any resolutions that are proposed.
If you are happy with the purchase requisition as it is, choose Release on the Release Strategy tab page in order to effect release with your release code. In the case of a purchase requisition subject to item-wise release, the relevant item can also be released with the release code from within the item overview.
Only the original requester can cancel the requisition before a purchase requisition with an incomplete status becomes a PO. To cancel a purchase requisition with an In Progress status, change the requisition status from In Progress to Incomplete first.
You delete purchase requisitions by clicking the relevant purchase requisition items and then choosing the Delete PR button. For security reasons, you have to confirm a security warning in a popup before deleting. If the deletion is successful, a message appears in the status bar.
You can delete an entire requisition by clicking the Requisition Delete button on the Requisition Header page.
A Purchase Order (PO) can be cancelled as long as approval by the vendor is received, there are no matched or paid invoices on the PO and goods have not been received.
