hello so today i will be teaching you how to take the scuff marks off your car this is a really easy method and you probably do it with stuff that you just have lying around the house and you can even get the stuff at the store for only a couple of dollars so all you need is some rubbing alcohol and some paper towels or a j cloth and all youre going to do is simply wet the paper towel and then start buffing away those marks youll want to put in a little bit of elbow grease and you might also need a more abrasive cloth for the parts of the mark that were very thick and hard to get off i used an sos scrubbing pad and some rubbing alcohol and lightly buffed it away and this worked really well but you need to be careful not to scrub too hard otherwise you may ruin the paint finish on your car okay there is the finished product i have scratched everything off that was hard to come off with with the sos pad and it looks pretty good so now im gonna do because i was using rubbing alcohol i

Squirt a small amount of toothpaste onto the damp cloth. Rub hard in circular motions over the scuff mark. Repeat as necessary until the scuff is gone. For larger paint scuffs, attach a buffing attachment to your drill.
For hard plastics like acrylic and polycarbonate, a buffing wheel is a good option. Turn the wheel on, and then hold the plastic up to the wheel where the scratch is. After a few minutes, the scratch should be gone. It will also work to buff up soft plastics, like motorcycle trim.

The process here involves softening the paint that was transferred onto your car with the WD-40, then using the eraser to take it off. WD-40 and similar sprays have chemicals that should weaken the new paint's bond to your vehicle. Spray it directly on the paint, then wipe the eraser in the same direction as the paint.
Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with warm water to create a paste. Use a microfiber cloth to scrub the paste over the affected area until the scuff mark disappears. Wipe over the area with a damp microfiber cloth to remove any residue.
Clean the plastic surface with a damp cloth, rubbing in a circular motion around the scratch. Dry the area to remove any dirt which should make the process easier to carry out. Apply a mild abrasive, such as toothpaste, furniture polish, baking soda or plastic polish to the scratch.

To remove scuff marks from shoes, combine 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda and enough warm water to create an evenly consistent paste. Apply the paste directly to the scuff marks. Using a cloth, polish the shoes and remove the excess paste with a second clean, damp cloth.
If the scratch is shallow, car polish may be enough. For deeper scratches, coloured waxes might be able to fill in the mark. Cutting or rubbing compound may be effective at polishing it out and removing oxidised paint to reveal a fresher colour underneath.
