hi all welcome to Salesforce in 5 minutes in this video we are going to understand how to add or remove fields from the piece layouts for that purpose we need to come to the object manager of the account we are going to consider account object for this video now in order to change the fields inside the page layout we need to go to the speed layout sections as you can see there are multiple pay layouts these page layouts are different types of the products like Marketing sales but as we are using Salesforce core product we need to go to the account layout there are different types of the section at the top as we can see there is a Field section button sections custom link sections so if you want to add or remove the fields we need to go to this section if we need to add or remove the buttons you need to go to go to this sections Versa if you want to go to this section so what we are going to do as I have said in the previous video page layout the way the fields have been arranged in pay

Select Fields Relationships. Select the non-supported Salesforce field you have identified earlier. Click Edit. Under General Options, ensure that is it not set as Required.
When you make a field required, people must enter an answer to the field in order to submit their entry.
In Classic: Go to Setup | Customize | Leads | Page Layouts. Click Edit next to the Page Layout name. Click on the wrench icon for the Company field. Deselect the Required checkbox and click OK. Save the Layout.

To put it simply, a required form field must contain an answer before the respondent can submit the form. These are fields that absolutely must be answered in order for the form to be useful. Its possible for a form to be useful without having any required fields.
Click Customize the System. Under Components, expand Entities, and then expand the entity you want. Click Fields. Change the Field Requirement from Business Required to Optional.
