You will want to click on the Create transition and select Validator link. Find the Validator that requires the field, open and ensure it is the Approver field then remove it.
For that first we select the Main Phone data card and then unlock it. Once done, selected the Required property of the Data card and then set its value to value of the Approved checkbox. Now that the Data card has been marked mandatory, the form submit is automatically taken care of.
Click on the gear icon then Setup Object Manager. Choose the object Fields Relationships. Select the custom field that you will make required. Click on Edit and under General Options select Required. Click on Save.
To change your custom fields, go to Settings Company Data fields and click the button next to your custom field. You can change the custom field name, field properties and important fields for your custom field at any time. The custom field type cannot be changed once it has been created.
Page Layout: Field can be made mandatory from the page layout when it needs to be made mandatory for a set of users.
Follow the steps below. Go to Settings -- Customizations. Click Customize the System. Under Components, expand Entities, and then expand the entity you want. Click Fields. Select the field you want to remove from the form (which is Business Required) Change the Field Requirement from Business Required to Optional.
Mandatory fields are used when information is required in order to submit a form. If the mandatory field is left empty, the system will display this field in red and not allow the form to be published or submitted without that field completed.
To use the required fields feature, go to Settings Data fields. When adding a custom field, you will see the option to make the field required. By clicking to expand the options when editing a deal field, you can select which pipelines and stages your field will be required for.
The name or type of default fields cannot be edited, but the quality rules can. Note: The instant messengers, post addresses, notes, birthday/dates of birth and job title fields dont exist by default in Pipedrive. They are only created for contact persons when you set up your contact sync.
