What is a Preferred Name? The term Preferred Name refers to a name that an individual wishes to use that differs from their student record name on official UW documents and/or differs from the name that is listed on a student or employees original UW record that has not been changed per UW name change procedures.
The Pathways program runs from May to August. The competitive program offers a stipend to students ($7500) to complete a summer project of their design, in a rural or Indigenous community of Alberta. Go to Manage Classes Change Program (Note: you wont be able to do this until course registration opens). Select the appropriate term and program. Remember to change your program for each applicable term (e.g. Fall Winter).
