[Music] hey guys on todays video were going to be taking a look at your photos app so lets just open that up thats down here below our photos up lets just open it up as soon as we open it up on the top left hand side you guys will see all of this so you should say library memories and so on right now you guys could have it under imports or anything like that just select your very first option when it says library now this can be up here or down here depends if you guys move this around but anyways most likely its going to be top left-hand corner once we do that if we want to delete every single picture from here we can just press command a and delete them if you would like to just delete one at a time well for example i can delete this one so i can just click on it and then press command delete that will get rid of it or i can click on it and then i can just press with my two fingers in order to get that secondary click once i do that i can just go ahead and select delete photo

Delete something from one device, it deletes them from all your devices. iCloud is working the way it is designed to work. If you dont want this to happen, open your Macs System Preferences, click on iCloud, click Options next to iCloud Drive, and uncheck the boxes for the things you dont want synced.

Image Capture wont let you delete photos or videos for devices using iCloud Photo Library. With iCloud Photo Library enabled, you have to use iCloud.com, or an iOS device or Mac with the feature enabled to delete images. Those images will then be deleted off every connected device and iCloud.com.

Its most likely because another program is currently trying to use the file. This can occur even if you dont see any programs running. When a file is open by another app or process, Windows 11/10 puts the file into a locked state, and you cant delete, modify, or move it to another location.
The chances are that the iPhone wont delete photos because you have previously synced your photos with iTunes or added photos to the device with a third-party app. Most likely the photos you cant delete are located in the From My Mac section of the Photos app.
