now the other thing you can do not only from a work order perspective but i also can have maintenance agreements in here so those preventative maintenance agreements that i have monthly or quarterly going on through certain clients similar process youll notice here but i actually initiate that before so they sign an agreement with us at the start of the year to have quarterly maintenance done i set that up in the system and then if i get in like two weeks before that agreement or that work order is set to be completed i actually can have it then hit that schedule board and get scheduled and then the process from there on is the exact same but just know we actually can create these maintenance agreements beforehand and have them kick out throughout the year

Click the gear icon | Setup | Find Contract object under Object Manager Tab. Hit Fields Relationships | Click on the Status field. Click on the New button, enter the new Contract Status and select the appropriate Status Category for this value. Click Save
To terminate a subscription, reduce the quantity of the related quote line to zero on your amendment quote. When you contract the opportunity containing that quote, Salesforce CPQ sets the Terminated Date value of the new subscription record to one day before the amendment quotes start date.

To delete a Contract, click Del next to the Contract on the Contracts list page. A Contract can also be deleted by clicking Delete on the Contract detail page. Note: When deleting a Contract, all related Notes, Attachments, Events and Tasks, History, and Approval Requests are deleted.
Delete a contract type: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Contract Type. Click Contract Type. Click the down arrow next to the contract type that you want to delete and then click Delete.

To create an amendment quote, click Amend on your contract or Amend Contract on your opportunity. Salesforce CPQ creates an amendment opportunity and amendment quote. The amendment quote contains all the products from the order you contracted. You can adjust the quantities of these products or add new products.
Always put a contract amendment in writing and make sure both parties sign and date it. Reference the title of the contract, if applicable; its original parties; and original signing date, so that it is clear what document you are amending. Attach the amendment to the original contract.
