hey im back lets talk more about p6 settings today were talking about resource assignment settings in user preferences this one is called so its on the user preferences calculations tab and its called long title when adding or removing multiple resource assignments on activities two options okay so there are two options here one is preserve units duration and units per time on the assignment or the second option is recalculate those fields based on the activitys duration type wow thats a really complicated group of settings and explanation let me tell you what this is about okay im going to demonstrate so lets set this to preserve the units duration in units per time and i have this project open and im looking at paul kim look at the values of original duration i need an old man here im going to put my glasses on look at the values of duration units per time and budgeted units okay lets assign paul kim again to this activity paul watch what happens this is where the settin
