A home Behavior Contract is a written agreement between you and your child or your adolescent. The main parts of a Behavior Contract include the desired task or behavior, the agreed-upon rewards and consequences, and signatures from all parties involved. It is important that the contract answers the specific questions of who will do what, what will be done and when, and how well or how frequently it should be done. In this example, who is involved in the contract? Juan and Dad. What behaviors or tasks are to be completed?
