New Law Provides Paid Leave Beginning 2023 Effective January 1, 2023 private employers with one or more employees within the state of Oregon will need to provide up to 12 weeks of paid leave within a 12-month period.
You get at least 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours you work. Your employer can limit you to taking 40 hours of that accrued time every year.
Leave. Annual leave: You will receive a lump sum payment for any unused leave. It will follow the same electronic deposit as your pay check. Sick leave: If you return to the Federal Government, any accrued sick leave will be re-credited to your account.
Go to Employees, then Employee Center. Double-click the name of the employee. Select Payroll Info, then Sick/Vacation. Verify the Maximum number of hours to accrue and adjust if needed.
