Tip: To quickly remove a legend or a legend entry from a chart, you can select it, and then press DELETE. You can also right-click the legend or a legend entry, and then click Delete. To display a legend, click the display option that you want.

Method 1: Using scale_color_discrete() scale_color_discrete() function deals with legend aesthetics. To remove the title, its name attribute is set to nothing or left black, which makes it not appear in the final plot. Example: Remove legend title using scale_color_discrete().
