hi students im just going to show you really fast how to add your name and page number to the top of your essay using google docs so let me share the screen okay so im using this fake essay here this is not a real essay uh but let me just show you here if you click at the top did you notice what i did here i click twice at the top and you get whats called the header and the header is where you can add things that will repeat on every page so im going to add a page number first so find insert right taking notes make sure you remember insert then go to page number page numbers and find the first one where its going to give you a number on each page in the top right hand corner and click on that and look weve got a 1 there make sure that the 1 is in times new roman size 12. okay if you notice now all the pages have that now how do you add your name you just type it there my last name well i use two last names if you use one last name okay so you have your last name and then a space
