Go to Inventory, Devices, and use the View By, Label, and choose the label. Select all the devices, then click the Choose Action drop-down and click on Remove Labels. Select the label (there may be more than one, only remove this one) you wish to remove, then click the Remove Labels button.
Tips on Making and Mounting Location Labels Your labels should be durable and fixed in place (i.e., dont use magnets or labels that can be easily moved). Labels should be easy to read, preferably from across a room. Consider using easy-to-spot colors such as black on yellow or white on red.
Label Each Box On More Than One Side As you put items into their boxes or bins, write the contents of the box on at least one side and the top of the box. If you can, use a dark permanent marker and white sticky labels. It will make them easier to read if they stand out.
How to Create Good Inventory Item Descriptions Most important: Inventory item descriptions should begin with a noun (what the item is) followed by the adjectives that describe the item (in descending order of the adjectives importance). Inventory item descriptions should be unique.
Inventory tags are stickers placed on equipment to make their identification process easier. These tags contain codes or identification numbers allotted to a particular item, its details, location, and related information.
Each shelf should be properly labeled, usually with a numbering system starting with the lowest number from the floor, and ascends to the top shelf. Position specific location each shelf or level is segmented in.
