I use baby wipes. Alcohol dries out your stamps, so I use regular stamp cleaner and a scrub pad immediately after stamping. RE: Traceyjean: Alcohol dries out your stamps, so I use regular stamp cleaner and a scrub pad immediately after stamping. You can also try a tooth brush with mild soap.
Avoid using any cleaning products that include alcohol, which can cause the rubber surface to dry out and permanently damage your stamps.
Use a Q-Tip soaked in a solvent like brake fluid, acetone, or rubbing alcohol to lift ink out of the page. If chemicals dont work, try carefully rubbing the ink off with an eraser, razor blade, or even a fine-grit sander. If the ink just wont come out, cover it with correction fluid or paper.
If its a wet ink stain, first lightly dab at the stain so you soak up the ink without letting it spread. After the stain dries, dab alcohol on to it and then dab the reverse of the stained fabric with a paper towel so that it soaks up the alcohol, along with the ink that it is dislodged by the alcohol.
Soap and Water Most standard inks can be washed off using normal soapy water (dishwashing detergent is fine). An old toothbrush is ideal for whisking off any ink that is clinging to the stamps.
Scrape off the papers surface with a razor blade or fine / extra-fine sandpaper. Be sure to be gentle on your stroke and follow just a single direction when scraping. This method is more effective if done immediately after the ink stain and thicker paper, which can endure extra scraping.
