well good morning good afternoon and good evening everybody my name is simon bate ill be your presenter for this scriptorium webcast on localization and the data open toolkit first well just start a little bit about me um im a senior technical consultant at scriptorium ive been here at scriptorium for a little bit more than four years ive had about 30 years i like to say ive had 30 years experience in technical communications um 10 years as just writer 10 years as a manager in the past 10 years id be doing what i really love and thats tools development and you cant do tools development without telling people how to use the tools so ive also added to my resume training so i do a lot of the training here for scriptorium ive had um with scriptorium ive had about four years of working in the did and did open tool kit and so im going to be sharing with you a little bit of my experience working trying to localize transformations with the did open toolkit just a bit about script
