If you use the Force parameter to detach a network interface, you might not be able to attach a different network interface to the same index on the instance without first stopping and starting the instance.
To delete a snapshot using the console Open the Amazon EC2 console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/ . In the navigation pane, choose Snapshots. Select the snapshot to delete, and then choose Actions, Delete snapshot. Choose Delete.
You cannot detach a primary network interface from an instance. You can create and attach additional network interfaces. The maximum number of network interfaces that you can use varies by instance type. For more information, see IP addresses per network interface per instance type.
Delete an image Select the check box next to the Version for any image that you want to delete. You can select more than one image version at a time. At the top of the Image build versions panel, choose Delete version.
If Enable is cleared, when Amazon EC2 creates the new AMI, it reboots the instance so that it can take snapshots of the attached volumes while data is at rest, in order to ensure a consistent state.
Delete your instance Open the Amazon Connect console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/connect/ . Select the radio button for the instance. Choose Delete. If you don't see the Delete button, you don't have permissions to delete instances.

You can deregister an AMI when you have finished using it. After you deregister an AMI, you can't use it to launch new instances. When you deregister an AMI, it doesn't affect any instances that you've already launched from the AMI or any snapshots created during the AMI creation process.
A custom AMI can improve provisioning times when instances are launched in your environment if you need to a lot of software that isn't included in the standard AMIs. Using configuration files is great for configuring and customizing your environment quickly and consistently.
Choose the name of the instance for which you want to delete automatic snapshots. On the instance management page, choose the Snapshots tab. Under the Automatic snapshots section, choose the ellipsis icon next to the automatic snapshot that you want to delete, then choose Delete snapshot.
