Remove a Header or Footer Once youve added a header or footer, you can easily remove it if you find that it isnt what you want. Click the Header or Footer button on the Insert tab. Select Remove Header or Remove Footer.

You cant remove the header or footer from a document in the mobile app for iPhone or Android, but you can it. Just delete all the text from the header or footer.
