I was helping a client out recently who was using the the social media widget plug-in by Noah Caden now the the issue for the client was that they they wanted to remove the Google+ icon and link from their from their their website widget which was sitting in the sidebar now Google+ was was sitting in here at the time and what the client had done to try to remove it was to blank out these these particular fields in here hoping that that would trigger the removal of the icon from the widget but what I have found by by just by hook or by crook and via by digging around a little bit is that if you click on the social networking drop down here this is where you would ordinarily put all of the links for your for your active social media icons and all I did was it was just on a hunch but I just blanked out the HTTP prefix for the URL and clicked on save and wonder of wonders that seems to have have removed the icon so so hopefully that was useful for anybody using the social media widget plug
