today on one-minute geek I will show you how to add and remove headers from multiple Excel spreadsheets at the same time so to begin with I have created here four different spreadsheets as you can see theyre labeled 1 2 3 4 so what we need to do is select the first one and then shift select the last one and well change over to page layout view and then if you click in the header up here and just type in your header best header ever and there you go you can see that its copied across all four sheets so to remove we just simply again shift-click the first and the last remove the header and then as you can see its now removed them the same applies if you want to do just one header for one sheet it also applies if you want to add or remove footers from Excel spreadsheets at the same time so there you go thats adding and removing headers from Excel spreadsheets at the same time

Use the Document Inspector to Remove Hidden Data To open the Document Inspector, click File Info Check for Issues Inspect Document. The Excel Document Inspection window shown below opens up. Click Inspect to identify hidden content, and then click Remove All to remove the item of your choice.
Go to Insert Header Footer. On the top right side of the document, select Options Remove Headers Footers.
Select the File tab. In the Info pane, click Check for Issues and select Inspect Document. In the Document Inspector pop-up window, accept all defaults and click Inspect. Next to Headers, Footers, and Watermarks, click Remove All.
First, open your document. Then, go to the Insert tab at the top. Click Header and choose Remove Header from the menu. This will get rid of the header.
Double-click the header or footer area (near the top or bottom of the page) to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections. Select Header or Footer and do one of the following: Choose Remove Header or Remove Footer near the bottom of the menu.
Click the File tab to go to Backstage view. From the Info pane, click Check for Issues, then select Inspect Document from the drop-down menu. Document Inspector will appear. Check or uncheck the boxes, depending on the content you want to review, then click Inspect.

Select which hidden data you want to check for, then click Inspect. Click the Remove All button next to a categorys results to remove those elements. Click Close when youre done.
