welcome brainers are you annoyed by The Faded header and footer in Microsoft Word well youre at the right place in word think of header and footer as one section and the main body of the document as another the section youre working on is considered as active and its contents are fully visible while the other section is faded to switch between these sections we just double click inside the section this is the way that Microsoft Word has been deliberately designed to work but no worries were going to show you three simple tricks to work around this Behavior Solution One print or save as PDF while the header and footer may appear faded on screen rest assured that there will be no fading effect when you print the document you can double check this by going to the print preview option nothing is faded and this is exactly how the document will be printed on the other hand if you would like to share this document with someone else over email or upload it to some portals then the best way
