hello and welcome to the next video in using quiz comms forms in this video i will be showing you how to dynamically show hide and disable fields i have set up a new list in the sharepoint based on a help desk scenario ive added several different fields into the list that could be found within a ticketing system i am going to add a column permission to hide the action field when a new form is created return to the list setting via the quiz com button in the toolbar the column permission feature enables dynamically hiding or disabling columns in list forms and display views in the list quiz comms app settings page click the dynamic column permission gear icon this will open the column permissions settings page this settings page allows you to create column permission rules each rule hides shows or disables the selected column these rules will be processed ing to their order every time a list form new edit or view is loaded and each time a user makes selections in the form first select

Specify document library columns when you design a form template To add a column, click Add, click the field or repeating group for which you want to create a column, and then type a name for the column in the Column name box. To remove a column, click the column in the list, and then click Remove.

Delete columns on a form Open the form designer to create or edit a form. In the form preview, select the column that you want to delete from the form. On the command bar, select Delete. Repeat steps 2-3 if you want to delete more columns.
Add a field to a form or report by using the Field List pane On the Design tab, in the Tools group, click Add Existing Fields. -OR- Press ALT+F8.
Enter the Web address of the SharePoint site in the Data Connection Wizard. Click Next. Do one of the following: Customize the form for an existing list. Select Customize an existing SharePoint list, and then select the list that you want to customize. Click Next. Create a new list and customized form. Click Finish.
