When an organization (tenant) is deleted in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), part of Microsoft Entra, all resources in the organization are also deleted. Prepare your organization by minimizing its associated resources before you delete.
Azure AD and Azure AD B2C are separate product offerings and cant coexist in the same tenant. An Azure AD tenant represents an organization. An Azure AD B2C tenant represents a collection of identities to be used with relying party applications.
In the admin center, go to the Billing Products services page. Find the subscription that you want to cancel, and under Settings Actions, select Cancel subscription.
On the Overview page, select Manage tenants. On the Manage tenants page, select (by check marking) the tenant you want to delete, and then, at the top of the page, select the Delete button.
Under Manage, select App registrations (or App registrations (Legacy)). Select View all applications. Select the application named b2c-extensions-app, select Delete, and then select Yes when prompted.
Delete tenant resources Under Manage, select App registrations. Select the All applications tab. Select an application to open it, and then select Delete button. Repeat for all applications, including the b2c-extensions-app application.
In the Azure AD B2C tenant overview menu, select User flows. Find the user flow you want to delete. In the last column, select the context menu () and then select Delete.
In the Azure portal toolbar, select the Directories + subscriptions filter icon ( ). On the All Directories tab, find the directory that contains your Azure AD B2C tenant and then select the Switch button next to it.
You can delete tenants and subtenants using the API tool. CAUTION: Deleting a tenant is permanent and cannot be undone. You can only delete a tenant that does not contain any flows. If your tenant contains flows, you will need to delete the flows first, before you can delete the tenant.
