hey everyone another nice day out here yesterday it was in the 70s today its uh like wind chill down in the 20s so uh you know central alabamas taking a little bit of a temperature swing which is not uncommon middle of february but uh what were talking about today is uh having clean logs to mill i dont care where whether you chainsaw mill or you have a bandsaw or a uh a swing mill you know whatever those blades uh will last longer uh if you dont have dirt and grit debris uh embedded in the in the bark so i always i always strip every log you know i know its time consuming and and whatever but i just feel like my blades stay sharp longer you can say well you know if if you save the time by not debarking it thats time you would save uh you know in comparison to you know balancing that out with with sharpening your blades yeah thats true i mean you know you could potentially sharpen your blades a couple times and then you know just go ahead and mill without but another aspect of
