hi im owen from sprint rae here with another tips and tricks video in todays episode ill be showing you how to remove support structure and sanding scratches effectively here are the tools youre going to need a set of flush cuts some small files high grit sandpaper some chapstick and of course your 3d printed part youll start by removing the majority of the supports manually since this is a fresh print you can simply pull these off work your way around the model and remove the easily accessible supports avoid the fragile areas of the print you dont want to break your model while removing supports once you finish removing these supports use the flush cuts to snip the rest of them the goal here is to separate the support structure from the model so that you can pull it off as one large piece [Music] now that youve got the massive supports out of the way you can cut the trickier supports with the flush cuts dont cut too close as this may cause pitting which may be difficult to rem
