If you write grant proposals, two qualities that funders love to see radiate out from their grant proposals, above all else, are credibility and impact. Open the cabinet door and locate the inward depressions caused by dents. Take a flat finishing hammer and lightly tap the outer circumference of each depression to force the dent outwards. As the dents begins to disappear, work the hammer towards the center of the depression until most of the damage is removed.
First, heat the dent with the hairdryer approximately six inches away for about 30 seconds. Then cover the dent with a piece of aluminum foil and rub dry ice over it. The rapid change from hot to cold should make the dent pop out within a minute or so.
A strong grant proposal should be clear, concise, and compelling. Make sure that you provide enough detail that the funder understands your project and can see that you have thought things through; but dont get too wordy. Your grant proposal should also tell a story that helps the funder relate to your project.
Dent pullers only work on shallow dents on flat, flexible surfaces. They can improve the appearance of dents but probably wont create a perfect finish. But these tools will not work on deep, angular dents or damage along the edges of bodywork.
Take a blowtorch and gradually heat up the metal at the site of the dent and maybe a half inch all the way around. Once the metal is hot, begin gently tapping and with a hammer to see how it responds. 3. Gradually increase the force of the hammer until you start pushing the dent out.
