I would now like to turn the meeting over to Dr. Gina Thornton-Evans. Thank you. You may begin. -Thank you. Hello, everyone, and thank you all for joining us today. Welcome to the second presentation in the CDC Dental Public Health Residency Lecture Series. My name is Gina Thornton-Evans, and Im the Director of the CDCs Dental Public Health Residency Program and a dental officer on the Surveillance, Investigations, and Research Team in the Division of Oral Health. You can exclude an unfinished questionnaire from survey data as it is incomplete. However, this depends on what should be your minimum sample size and how many surveys you have to consider. If you survey more than the minimum sample size, you can easily exclude unfinished questionnaires.
- On the My Surveys page, click the green check box on the left side of the survey name. - If you want to allow those with partial responses more time to complete the survey, then un-check the Close all active survey sessions option. - Type the word close in the box provided, and click Deactivate Survey.
Click the Survey Options button. Make sure you are on the Survey tab (underlined blue above). Check off Anonymize Response Do NOT record any personal information and remove panel association (not recommended) in the Survey Termination section of the popup. Click Save Changes when you are finished.
For responses in progress (i.e., participants who have started their surveys but not yet finished), you can choose to close their survey sessions or let those participants finish. You can pause response collection from either the Projects page or the Distributions tab.
If you wish to remove the survey completely from public view and stop receiving responses from participants, use the Unpublish option. This will bring the survey back to Draft status and all the responses will be available in the reporting section.
3. Click the Dropdown icon for the survey you want to modify and click View Survey. 4. Click the Unpublish button.
Once the survey is active and published, its editing is still possible, but you must be very careful in doing so. If you want to correct a typo or change the text in a question or a possible response, you can do so without consequences. The data remains unchanged.
The start and end dates can be changed by clicking on the calendar and then using the two dropdown menus to specify the exact time the survey opens and closes. When the specified start/end times are set, the Save changes button must be selected for the changes to be saved.
