On Windows, just follow these steps: Right-click your PDF. Select Properties. Choose Read-only. Click OK.
Active content is additional functionality in a file or program, such as macros, add-ins, or data connections.
Choose Tools Redact. On the Edit menu, choose Redact Text Images. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact.
To select all active elements or to remove all selections, select the Select All check box. To delete the content of the selected items, click Remove. Select File Save to save the modified PDF document. Select Save As and enter a new file name if you want to keep the original PDF document.
How to remove interactive content of a PDF online: To start, drop your PDF file or upload it from your device or your cloud storage service. Select the content to remove: annotations, form fields, hyperlinks, and/or JavaScript. Click on the Remove button.
Use a PDF editor to erase individual words. Open the PDF file you want to edit in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool on the right-hand side of the screen. Select a text block and make changes in the PDF or erase words using your keyboard. Erase entire text blocks by clicking Delete when the block is highlighted.
Using your mouse cursor, highlight the text you want to redact. A temporary red redaction box appears to let you confirm the text you wish to obscure. Click Apply Redaction, then be sure to save a copy of the document. The text is now permanently obscured.
Go to Prepare Form and Right Click to Delete You can right-click on any field to reveal options. In the pop-up menu, there will be the delete option. Click that, and the field will be deleted.
