So lets get started and Im going to add a strikethrough to all these seven cells and Im going to select them now Im going to click on this arrow button okay now if you click there this format cells dialog box will pop up and take a look at here effects and here you will find a strikethrough if you check mark this option and click OK and Done. You can see now all these seven cells has been strikethrough. So if you undo that option just click on this arrow again now uncheck this strikethrough option and click OK. Log into the Office 365 ECP, , with an account that has departmental admin privileges. Click on Recipients and search for your user. Open the properties of your user. Click on the Mailbox Features tab on the left. Select the Retention Policy drop down.
To change the retention policy in Outlook, begin by choosing the Account Settings option in the File menu. Select the Account Settings drop-down menu, then select the Retention Policies tab. Here you can choose the policy you want to apply to your Outlook account.
In the details panes for that mailbox, select Mailbox, and then for the Retention policy section, select Manage mailbox policies. In the Mailbox policies pane, use the dropdown list box for Retention policy to select the policy you want to apply to the mailbox, and then select Save.
Exclude a site from the retention policy Select Exclude Sites. Enter the URL of the site that you want to exclude, and then select the plus (+) button. Select the check box for the site. After you enter all the sites that you want to exclude, select Exclude at the bottom of the window to confirm the changes.
Navigate to Recipients Mailboxes. On the mailbox property page, click Mailbox usage, click More options, and then select one of the following: Use the default retention settings from the mailbox database: Use the deleted item retention setting thats configured for the mailbox database.
To remove a retention tag from a mailbox, you unlink the tag from the retention policy. When you unlink a retention policy tag (RPT) for a default folder, the default mailbox tag applies to all items in that folder. When you unlink a personal tag, its no longer available to the user.
To change the retention policy for a particular folder, click Settings (gear icon on top-right) and click View all Outlook settings. Click on Mail Retention Policies. Select the retention policy from the list you want to disable and click the minus icon () to remove and disable the particular retention policy.
To remove a retention tag from a mailbox, you unlink the tag from the retention policy. When you unlink a retention policy tag (RPT) for a default folder, the default mailbox tag applies to all items in that folder. When you unlink a personal tag, its no longer available to the user.
