In Photoshop, you can use the Save for Web dialog to remove EXIF data. Just press cmd/ctrl+alt+shift+S and make sure the Metadata dropdown is set to None.
This is a good question. Make a totally NEW, virgin document in Photoshop, go to File Info, you see this: No EXIF data. Go to-extra, at the bottom youll find a button for removing all metadata. I hope this will be so helpful to you.
One of the largest benefits of RAW is the ability to recover shadows and highlights in post-processing without bringing in the grainy noise usually associated with high ISO settings. RAWs are very forgiving if you have severely underexposed or overexposed areas.
Removing Image Metadata with Photoshop To remove image metadata in Photoshop, use the Save for Web option and in the drop-down next to Metadata select None.
RAWs give you more information to work with, but you have to put more time into that work. If speed is of the essence, or you want a point-and-shoot experience that yields photos ready to use out of the box, JPEGs might actually be a better option than RAWs.
Editing raw files is a two-stage process because raw files must first be converted into an editable format (either JpeG or TIFF), zo raw file shooters must make sure any raw conversion software or image-editing application they buy supports the raw images from the camera(s) they plan to use.
A RAW file is lossless, meaning it captures uncompressed data from your camera sensor. Sometimes referred to as a digital negative, you can think of a RAW file as the raw ingredients of a photo that will need to be processed in order to bring out the pictures full potential.
JPG files open in docHub Camera Raw instead of Photoshop. The reason for this is that PhotoShop opens processed files in Camera RAW by default if an XMP sidecar file is present.
How to remove metadata from photos Navigate to the folder holding the images you want to edit. Select the file (or files) you wish to delete metadata from. Right-click and select Properties, then Details. Select Remove Properties and Personal Information. Click Create a copy with all possible properties removed.
Many professional photographers shoot in RAW because the format captures the highest level of detail. It can often be easier to edit exposure later with a RAW file. However, shooting in JPEG has its benefits, since their smaller file sizes allow you to shoot more images at once and transfer files faster.
