Copy Conditional Formatting Using Format Painter Select the cell (or range of cells) from which you want to copy the conditional formatting. Click the Home tab. To do this, go to the Home tab on the Excel ribbon and click on the Conditional Formatting button. From the drop-down menu, select Clear Rules, and then select Clear Rules from Selected Cells.
