You can edit the company name directly in the File Info Properties for each template (except the blank document template) you want to change the company name.
Click File Info Remove Personal Information. Click the Personal Information tab. Select the Remove these items from the document check box.
Resolution Open the document and click File, then Info. Click Check for Issues. On the drop down list select Inspect Document. In the Document Inspector dialog box, make sure only Document Properties and Personal Information is checked. Click Inspect. If any information is found in the document, select Remove All.
Removing Metadata From Word Using a Mac Open the file you would like to remove metadata from. Click on the Tools menu and select the Protect Document option. In the Protect Document window check the box next to Remove personal information from this file on save Finish working on your document and then save.
Click or tap anywhere in the page you want to delete, press Option+⌘+G. In the Enter page number box, type \page. Press Enter on your keyboard, and then select Close. Verify that a page of content is selected, and then press Delete on your keyboard.
Go to File Info. Right click on the authors name. Select Remove Person.
Open Word, Excel or PowerPoint and go to File Info Properties Show All Properties. Here you can see the company name is changed to the new name as you entered in the registry editor. The change will reflect only in the new blank document template called Normal.
Open the document and press Ctrl-F to open the Find and Replace pop-up window. Click the Replace tab, then type the current company name into the Find what box. Make sure to type the name exactly as it appears in the document, with no additional spaces before or after.
