Use the Document Inspector to Remove Hidden Data To open the Document Inspector, click File Info Check for Issues Inspect Document. The Excel Document Inspection window shown below opens up. Click Inspect to identify hidden content, and then click Remove All to remove the item of your choice.
Right-click and choose the Properties option in the context menu. Switch to the Details tab. Click on Remove Properties and Personal Information at the bottom of the dialog window. Select Remove the following properties from this file.
Click Inspect Document. Click Inspect. The Document Inspector will scan your file for personal information. Click Remove All if Document Inspector finds personal information in your file. Now click Close then save your document.
Inspect a Document Click the File tab. Click Check for Issues. Select Inspect Document. The Document Inspector dialog box opens. Select which hidden data you want to check for, then click Inspect. Click the Remove All button next to a categorys results to remove those elements. Click Close when youre done.
From the Word Preferences dialog box, select User Information under the Personal Settings heading. Delete all the personal information that is displayed, click OK, then save your document.
Use the Document Inspector to Remove Hidden Data To open the Document Inspector, click File Info Check for Issues Inspect Document. The Excel Document Inspection window shown below opens up. Click Inspect to identify hidden content, and then click Remove All to remove the item of your choice.
Go to File Explorer. Select one or more files in Windows Explorer. Right-click select Properties from the contextual menu. Go to the Details tab click Remove Properties and Personal Information to open the Remove Properties dialog.
Click the Trust Center Settings button and select Privacy Options. Enable the Remove personal information from file properties on save option. If it appears grayed out, click the Document Inspector button below, run the Document Inspector, and remove all the documents personal information.
