If all annotations are unwanted, press Command + a, or right click and choose Remove All Annotations.
View all the notes in a PDF: Choose View Highlights and Notes (so the Highlights and Notes menu item has a checkmark next to it). All the notes in the document are displayed in the sidebar. Remove a note: Select the note in the sidebar, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
How to Remove Annotations from a PDF on Mac Open the PDF document in Highlights. From the menu bar choose File Open. Select the annotation you want to remove. This will bring up the annotation popover: Click the trash button in the popover.
To remove highlight or sticky notes from PDF: Click the highlighted part or the sticky note. Right click your mouse for options. Choose Delete Annotation from the options.
After opening the PDF, click on the Comment icon on the left toolbar to enter the commenting mode. Now, click the highlighted area and then click the Trash bin icon to delete it. Alternatively, right-click the highlighted area and hit Delete.
This might be belated, but in Preview you can go to Tools, Show Inspector. Click on the pencil icon all the way on the right to show the Annotations pane. Command + A to select all. Delete.
I have a PDF is being viewed via Preview, there are lots of notes I added, but there are a few are no longer needed. How do I remove the unwanted notes? Select the note and press delete on the keyboard. You can see and delete the notes in a sidebar: View - Highlights and Notes.
Open a PDF in Preview, then click the Markup button (top right), then click the Redact button (top left).
