The Forecast Category field in Salesforce classifies each sales opportunity in terms of the salespersons confidence in winning the deal in a given period. This classification is different from the opportunity stage field, which describes the pipeline in terms of the current position in the sales process.

Enable Users in Collaborative Forecasts Search for Users in the Quick Find box, then select Users. Click edit for each user that you want to enable the settings. Under General Information Section, select Allow Forecasting Checkbox. Save your changes.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Forecasts Settings , and then select Forecasts Settings. In the Manage Forecast Rollups section, click Edit. Select Cumulative category rollups. Click a forecast rollup name, edit it, and save your changes.
Note To rename a category for single-category rollups, use the object management settings for opportunities. Go to Fields, edit picklist values for the Forecast Category field, and save your changes.
Best Case This category includes closed/won opportunity amounts, as well as amounts that are likely to get closed. Amounts in the Commit category also fall under Best Case. Commit Included in this category are amounts that a user is confident about closing. This also includes closed/won opportunity amounts.
You can change the forecast category of an Opportunity stage by editing the Opportunity stage picklist value. Although forecast categories are linked to stages, its important to note that users can change the mapped category on an Opportunity without changing the stage, as well by editing the Forecast Category field.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Sales Deals. Click the name of a deal. In the About section in the left sidebar, click View all properties. Search or browse for the Forecast category property, then click the dropdown menu to select a different category.
