a lot of times when youre working inside houdini attributes can start to build up on your geometry and if youre new to houdini you may not necessarily know how to get rid of the attributes and keep only the ones that youre looking for so we figured we would take a look at how we can go about getting rid of all of the attributes on our particle sim here and this is a perfect example where we have a ton of different attributes you can see that we have a ton of attributes here and we dont necessarily need all these and if youre going to do something like cash this out then its just going to bloat your file size and you dont necessarily want to have all of these because most of them youre not even going to use so the simple way to get rid of all this is to just use one simple node called the clean node and this just basically gets rid of everything so to get our points back we just need to uncheck this remove degenerate points and remove unused points and that brings our points ba

To change the attribute value of an element, we need to access that element in JavaScript either using element id, class name, or any other way. We can access the attribute using . attribute_name, and assign a new value to it.
