Once the survey is active and published, its editing is still possible, but you must be very careful in doing so. If you want to correct a typo or change the text in a question or a possible response, you can do so without consequences. The data remains unchanged.
- On the My Surveys page, click the green check box on the left side of the survey name. - If you want to allow those with partial responses more time to complete the survey, then un-check the Close all active survey sessions option. - Type the word close in the box provided, and click Deactivate Survey.
How do I edit a survey after it has been published? Click the Dropdown for the survey you want to modify and then click Duplicate Survey. Make the desired changes to your duplicated survey. If your survey has any responses, it cannot be unpublished. Click the Unpublish button.
Only the survey owner can share the survey with others. If you need long-term access to the data from that survey (e.g. a feedback survey for an annual event or a major research survey), we recommend that you first create the survey in your own account, and then give the student shared access to edit that survey.
Click the Dropdown icon for the survey you want to modify and click View Survey. 4. Click the Unpublish button.
You have to publish the survey for respondents to access it. Click the Publish button in the upper right corner of the survey editor. Click Publish again in the next pop-up window. Once the survey is activated, youll be given an anonymous link to share with potential respondents.
Often, Qualtrics will allow you to undo a change if you hit Ctrl + z (PC) or Cmd + z (Mac) on your keyboard. However, not all changes are undoable. You can also save Revisions of your survey.
An incomplete response is a defect. For each incomplete questionnaire that you remove, you should replace it with a new one if it is feasible.
