To make the assignment ungraded: In the Assignments tool, click Roll Call Attendance. In the top right, click Edit. Check the box next to Do not count this assignment towards the final grade. Click Save.

Unsubmit/resubmit an assignment Sign in to Canvas. Open the course. Locate the assignment within the course and click to open. In the Assignment, click Open to attach and submit. Click Unsubmit. Click Unsubmit again in the pop-up to confirm. Re-submit your assignment as needed by following the instructions above.
Select Submission Type In the Submission Type drop-down menu, select the type of submission you want to accept for the assignment. By default, the submission type will be set to Online.
