Create a new custom field Select Issues. Under FIELDS, select Custom fields. Click Create custom field. Select the type of field you want to create and click Next. Add the details for your field. When you have entered the field details, select Create.

Find the issue type association you want to remove and click Delete. Note that you cannot remove the default configuration from the scheme.
To change the issue type assigned to a workflow: From your service project, go to Project settings, then Workflows. Find the workflow youd like to update and select Assign in the Issue types column. Select the issue types that youd like to assign to your selected workflow.
You cant change the fields type (for example, making a single-select field into a multi-select field). To change a fields type, recreate the field using the desired type. Jira allows you to define a description of a custom field.
