my name is Brent Stabenow and Im a consultant with Logan consulting in todays video I will be showing you how to print a packing slip in Dynamics 365 for finance and operations business addition while Dynamics 365 for financials Business Edition does not have a report that is named packing slip it is possible to print one in order to do this users must create a sales order from there the user will post the shipment of the order lastly the posted sales shipment document can be printed to include in the shipment as a packing slip so first we have to go to create in order so right here we have a new sales order going right here and here youll fill out the customer name and all the line item info I have one already created so I will go ahead and navigate to that so as you can see when once you fill out that new sales order these are the fields that you should see filled out youll have the customer number and all the customer info will fill in below and then we have the line item II det

To customize a packing slip form, go to Customization Forms Transaction Forms. Click Edit next to Standard Packing Slip. Place a check mark next to each transaction you want to print a packing slip and return form for. Place paper or blank forms in your printer.
What should a packing slip include? Shipping address, order date, and contact info. Itemized list of the shipped items. Itemized list of out-of-stock items. Quantity of each item. SKU or UPC of each item. Slip number or PO number.
Select the customers name to display a list of their transactions. From the Transaction List tab, select the box next to each invoice or sales receipt for which you want to print a Packing Slip. Select the Batch actions dropdown, then choose Print packing slip.
