If your Mac runs macOS Big Sur 11.0 or higher, you can use the Preview application to redact information from a PDF. Open the PDF in Preview, navigate to Tools, and click on Redact. A warning will appear, confirming that redacted content is permanently removed. Simply double click and highlight the information you want to redact. Save the file, and upon reopening, the information will be permanently redacted.
