Your Chromebook needs to have eSIM capabilities or a physical slot for a SIM card. To set up an eSIM, your Chromebook must run on version 92 or later. Check that your Chromebooks software is up to date.
On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time. Select your Wi-Fi network or No network . Under Mobile data, select your phone. When you see Connected under your phones name, your phone is sharing its data connection with your Chromebook.
If your Chromebook has a data plan, you can connect it to both Wi-Fi and mobile data networks. Note: Using your mobile phones data network with your Chromebook is not recommended.
