[Music] hey everyone this is isaac today were going to be looking at how to a zipper onto a piece of fabric [Music] also we have a pair of scissors a sharpie for marking and cutting and then were going to be using some hybrid d300 today the first thing you want to do is size your zipper to the piece of fabric that you have so in this case we have about a 14 inch piece of fabric and i cut this zipper to be about 15 inches giving me roughly a half inch on either side of an overhang so typically what i like to do is mark one side of your zipper tape so that you can match up those sides of the zipper later and then i also like to fold the zipper tape in half mark the center and then do the same for your fabric now that weve marked our zipper tape we are just going to pull that apart and separate the zipper we are going to line up the center mark on the zipper tape with the center mark on your fabric and then you also want to make sure that the right side of your zipper is facing the ri
