hi and welcome students todays tutorial will be on Microsoft Word 2016 and Im gonna show you how to undo and redo commands and actions lets go ahead and get started so Im gonna use this example in Microsoft Word but ctrl Z + ctrl Y which youll learn about will work throughout the Microsoft Office suite and on your Windows 10 PC lets go ahead and get started so first thing I see here is I have a Microsoft Word document now one of the things that my students and people that are beginning to use computers for maybe the first time or maybe theyre using office for the first time is they make mistakes when they are in office documents and this is this happens if youre a beginner all the way through advanced levels so one of the things that they do is they click and drag and maybe they bring the picture into the wrong spot right and so if you put the picture say in the wrong spot what you want to do is you want to undo that command you dont necessarily want to try to click and drag

The redo function restores any actions that were previously undone using an undo. Some people may refer to this feature as a reverse undo. For example, if you typed a word, and then deleted it using an undo, the redo function restores the word you deleted ("undid").
To redo the most recent action that you undid, press CTRL+Y. To redo several actions, do one of the following: Press CTRL+Y repeatedly until the actions are redone. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click the arrow next to Redo. , and then click the actions that you want to redo.
Tap the screen to draw. Click the undo icon to undo your last drawing or click the trash bin con to clear all drawings on the currently opened whiteboard.
