Use the power button. Press the Android phones Power button and hold it until a menu appears on the screen. Clear the Silent Mode check box in the menu to disable the Silent Mode option.
Use the Settings menu. Select the Settings icon from the Android phones home screen. Select Sound Settings, then clear the Silent Mode check box.
Use tones and ringtones with your iPhone or iPad Go to Settings Sounds Haptics. Under Sounds and Haptic Patterns, tap the sound that you want to change. Tap a ringtone or alert tone to hear it and set it as the new sound.
Theres no option to calibrate an iPhones touch screen, but if youre experiencing problems with touch accuracy there are some potential fixes. Restart your iPhone and check the screen for water or dirt, or if you have a screen protector on your phone, remove it and disconnect any accessories.
All iPhones and some iPads have a ring / silent switch on the left side of the device (above the volume buttons). Move the switch in way that the switch does not have an orange background color as the image below. Pushing it towards you will turn off silent mode. Pushing it away from you will turn it on.
True Tone,* which is on by default, uses advanced sensors to adjust the color and intensity of your display to match the ambient light, so that images appear more natural. If you turn off True Tone, the display keeps color and intensity constant, regardless of changes in the ambient light.
Check to see that the Silent switch is not set to ON. Silent switch is located on the Top Left Side of your iPhone. Open Settings ➔ Sounds Haptics ➔ Ringer and Alerts : Make sure this is not set to OFF or too Low.
Make sure the mute button above the volume switch wasnt accidently turned on. Go to settings/sounds and you can manage all your sound that come from your device.
