programmers often talk about the idea of encapsulation which can be a very powerful tool and can save lots of frustration and prevent bugs as a project grows now the idea of encapsulation is that a class or a system has everything it needs inside itself to function it doesnt need to docHub out for references and its not dependent on other classes and systems to function this is decoupling of systems and classes and we should generally be avoiding the coupling of classes and systems and encapsulation is another tool to help us do just that so before we dive too far into the command pattern i want to say this is the last programming pattern on my short list now there are certainly way way more programming patterns out there and if theres one in particular that youd like to see me cover let me know in the comments below but lets get back to the command pattern now the command pattern is all about sending information or a command to an object and the command itself is what is being enc

The best way to look at undo/redo is two stacks of operations the user has performed: The Undo stack is the history of what theyve done. The redo stack is the breadcrumbs back to the initial state before they started undoing.
Local undo / redo is controlled by the key combinations Ctrl-Z for undo and Ctrl-Y for redo.
To do this, increment the pointer value + 1, and make the contents of the editor = the value of pointer. To redo simply decrease the pointer value by 1 and load the contents of the array (make sure to check if you have docHubed the end of the array).
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
The Undo() method takes the Memento from the top of undo stack and calls Restore . The returned Memento is then pushed onto the redo stack. The Redo() method is just the opposite of the Undo() method. The Do() method registers a Memento so that it can be undone.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4.
Since the RichTextBox does the job for you, you just have to call rtb. Undo() or rtb. Redo() from wherever you need to.
By right-clicking on a TextBox, a popup menu containing an Undo entry is presented. This Undo will undo only one action, which may include several edits. An immediate subsequent Undo will undo the Undo - in essence, a Redo. The same behavior can be achieved using Ctrl + Z .
You can perform undo and redo by CTRL+Z and CTRL+Y keyboard shortcuts. Document Editor exposes API to do it programmatically. To undo the last editing operation in Document Editor, refer to the following sample code. editor.
