The redo function restores any actions that were previously undone using an undo. Some people may refer to this feature as a reverse undo. For example, if you typed a word, and then deleted it using an undo, the redo function restores the word you deleted (undid).
Microsoft word provides two important features called the Undo and the Repeat or Redo. The Undo feature is used to undo the previous action and the Repeat or Redo feature is used to repeat the previous action. For example, if you mistakenly delete text, you can use the Undo feature to recover it.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4.
Ctrl+B: Bold the selected text. Ctrl+I: Italicize the selected text. Ctrl+U: Underline the selected text.
Keyboard Command: Control (Ctrl) + C The COPY command is used for just that - it copies the text or image you have selected and stores is on your virtual clipboard, until it is overwritten by the next cut or copy command.
