this is a tutorial on how to create a spot color in docHub photoshop first click on file open and then select your preferred artwork then create a new layer and create a white rectangle covering your artwork once you have created the rectangle duplicate the artwork layer drag it to the top and lock its pixels then change your color to black and cover the artwork using the brush tool open up the channels and duplicate the red channel change the name to spot underscore white double click on the new channel and select spot color then go and make all the channels visible head back to the layers panel and hide all layers except the one containing the artwork then click on file save as and add the word spot to the name to avoid confusion save the file as a photoshop pdf save click ok and save pdf and then click yes your artwork is now ready for print you
